Garrett’s Selections: 55 Scarlatti Sonatas

In this post I am sharing my personal score of my 55 favorite Scarlatti sonatas.

The title page was made by myself.

All the scores come form IMSLP.

The pedagogical notes I created by copy/pasting and organizing posts from an old contributor to the Piano Street forums, Bernhard.

The biographies of Domenico Scarlatti, and of his father, contain the links where I found them in the header and/or footer.

Notes on Printing

  • I recommend printing the color biographies separately.
  • I recommend spiral binding. A business like FedEx, or any other printing business, should be able to print and bind for you. Just be sure to check the order of the pages before they bind.
  • The entire book will come out to just under 3/4 of an inch (around 2 centimeters) if you print on high-quality paper.
  • I recommend binding in this order: clear plastic cover – title page – card-stock – biographies and stats – sheet music – card-stock backing.
